About Me

My therapeutic approach integrates contemporary psychological science with an understanding of the interconnected relationship between the mind, body, breath, and nervous system. I believe that every person already possesses the innate capacity and the essential tools needed for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

Therapy is not about fixing what is broken, but about developing greater awareness, strengthening connection with oneself and others, and expanding the capacity to respond to life's challenges with resilience and intention. Through evidence-based approaches—including trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, somatic interventions, and mindful breathing practices—clients learn to regulate their nervous system, cultivate present-moment awareness, and access the inner resources that have often been obscured by stress, trauma, or life experiences.

Drawing respectfully from the contemplative principles of Buddhist psychology, I encourage the cultivation of compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment, and self-discipline as qualities that support emotional wellbeing and psychological flexibility. The breath serves as a bridge between the body and mind, helping to regulate the autonomic nervous system and create the conditions for healing. As awareness deepens and the nervous system finds greater balance, clients are better able to reconnect with their inherent wisdom, live in alignment with their values, and experience lasting psychological wellbeing.

My work is inspired by the contemplative principles of Buddhist psychology, not as a religion, but as a timeless understanding of the human mind and our capacity for growth. I believe that healing begins with learning to relate to ourselves with greater awareness, compassion, and acceptance.

Rather than struggling against difficult thoughts or emotions, we can learn to observe them with curiosity, regulate our nervous system through the body and the breath, and respond with intention rather than reaction. I encourage the development of qualities such as compassion, forgiveness, tolerance, contentment, and self-discipline, helping clients build resilience, deepen their connection with themselves and others, and live more fully in alignment with their values.

When integrated with evidence-based psychological therapies, these contemplative principles provide a practical and empowering foundation for lasting wellbeing and meaningful change.
